MD Contractors have been amazing. We hired them for three big jobs: driveway & walkway, fence, and new deck. Each project was completed quickly AND with attention to detail. They were kind, patient, and respectful of our space and property. They were reliable and consistently showed up when they said they would. Pricing was fair & reasonable and communication was easy. These projects could have ended up being a gigantic headache that took far too long, but with MD Contractors it has been such an easy process, and we have enjoyed watching them build and work their magic. They provided excellent service, and we would highly recommend Jairo and his team!

Katie Jaeger

I can’t say enough good things about Jairo and his team. We hired MD Contractors to replace our fence, gate and parking pad. Jairo’s pricing was fair and competitive to other quotes we got. On the day of the estimate, I appreciated that Jairo listened to my questions and talked through some options. His team also took down a tree we needed removed, which saved us the hassle of finding separate contractor for that. The crew was very polite and left the yard neat and organized each evening. The fence and parking pad look so nice! Really makes a difference in how our backyard looks. If we need more work done, we will definitely contact Jairo.

Ben Carrey

MD Contractors have made a wonderful backyard patio with a fire pit and an imbedded Compass Rose, and I especially like the steps at the kitchen. We worked together choosing the pavers and stone walls. They installed new fences to enclose the backyard. Paths go all around to the front yard with new front patio steps and a surrounding wall. The workmanship is excellent. We highly recommend MD Contractor for their outstanding workmanship.

This is the 2nd project we’ve gone with Jairo for and, once again, he and his crew delivered beyond expectations. The fenceline surrounding my house was a hodgepodge of 4 or 5 different fences, each a different type and from different times. There were also annoyingly stubborn shrubberies that were pushing several parts of the fences over. Jairo understood all of our concerns and needs, and in just 4 days of work, all of the old fences and shrubbery were removed and a beautiful brand new fence and a clean yard took its place. I wish I took “before” pics, because the difference is mind-blowing. Also, after every day of work, the crew left any and all remaining materials and tools organized and contained (which is very important for us, because dogs). Not to mention, his prices are extremely fair.

In short, if you ever need a project done and Jairo says he can do it, then there’s no need to look any further. We will definitely be utilizing him again!

Gary Just

Jairo and his guys at MD Contractors recently cleaned, re-sanded, and sealed my patio. It looks better than new again! Very timely, comprehensive, and at a fair price. I will definitely call him again for my next project.

The MD Contractor deck, fence and concrete did an exceptional job laying concrete around my deck and pathway. I would strongly recommend them. Professional and negotiable. They were referred to me, and I am not disappointed. I used them again to do some touch up repairs, and it turned out even better. They are so good, and extremely professional. I just love the company and how they do business.

Yasmine Thomas

We got a 6ft white vinyl privacy fence installed. From the initial estimate to the fence installation, everything about the service was 5 stars!! There was difficulty locating the property markers on my land but the crew was very patient and professional. In spite of the delayed start due to the property markers and last minute changes, they completed the job on time and did not charge me any extra. I highly recommended them to all my neighbors!

John Conley

100% reccomend. When we decided we wanted our pool deck replaced we thought the new deck wouldnt be built until the fall. MD Contractors built us a fantastic deck with plenty of pool season left to spare and made it match the deck for our house. Great quality work and customer service.

Nikomar Mosley

Work so nice, we hired them twice!

In 2024, we hired MD Contractors to replace our old wooden fence with a vinyl fence. The quality of their work resulted in their being called back in June 2025 to provide us with a newly paved patio and driveway extension. The crew performed demo, install, and clean-up for each project with grace and class. They were respectful of our property, time, and space. We are very pleased with the results!

Jairo and his team are highly recommended.

Brian Silverman

We will definitely use them again for potential future projects!

Anthony Consoli

MD Contractors did an absolutely fantastic job for us recently, fully remaking our side porch and adding a new deck. From the beginning we found them to be more creative than their competition in offering helpful ideas from their previous projects that guided the finalization of our design. Their crew worked very hard, were responsive to our requests and always left our yard tidy and clean when they finished each day. They were thorough and prompt in addressing our final punchlist of minor items that needed to be fixed at the end. The owner, Jairo Guerra, was always responsive and it is clear that he and his entire family based small business crew take great pride in providing a high level of quality workmanship to their fortunate clients. Many families in our larger neighborhood area have selected MD Contractors and have been very pleased with their work. I recommend them very highly and plan to hire them again for our future projects.

Andrew Wang

Jairo and his team were amazing. We hired Jairo and his team to complete a 12×20 composite deck. Initially, I thought this would be a 4-5 day project but his team knocked it out in literally 2 days and change.

His team was efficient, proficient, and hard working until the very end. They definitely know what they’re doing.

We did some research as well and found that Jairo’s pricing was very competitive.

Overall, we’re very satisfied with his work and we would recommend him to our friends and neighbors!

Lou Jacobs

Jairo Guerra and his crew were an absolute joy to work with. After 35 years in our home we finally decided that our crumbling front steps and path to the house had to go. We saw other work in our neighborhood that MD Contractors had done, and it all looked good. In addition, in talking with the neighbors, they reported that the jobs were done professionally, with great attention to detail, and on schedule and budget. We made the leap and could not be happier. Our work was better than we imagined, and now, three years later, the walk and steps continue to be a source of pride for us every time we enter, or welcome guests to our home. We had a few pieces of stone that we asked if the masons could include in the stair risers, and they did that beautifully. We have since recommended MD Contractors to many of our neighbors, and will have them back to do other work on our home without hesitation.

Tonia Twine

Maryland contractors did a fantastic job with building my new deck and fencing in my front yard. The owner and his team made sure throughout the process that I was satisfied with the work they were doing. I liked that the owner shook my hand firmly and gave eye contact when we met. The owner is very compassionate about his work. His prices are very reasonable. He does his work in a timely fashion. He does not waste any time with getting your materials and getting the work done. If I was unhappy about something the owner made a personal appearance to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. Yes, I will always utilize his services again and yes, I would recommend him to anyone and everyone that is looking for a contractor.

MD Contractors are highly skilled craftsmen. They pay particular attention to detail. My dealings with them have been extremely positive. Their prices are competitive but very reasonable. Their customer service is beyond reproach! They showed up on time, worked all day, cleaned up at the end of each day. They were extremely amenable to the several changes I made to my project as we went along. They even suggested changes that made the outcome even better than I had expected or anticipated. They are now my go-to contractors. I will use them again exclusively for future projects.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. Jairo and his team did a great job. I explained to him exactly what I wanted my porch to look like and they got it done correct and quick! The pricing was very reasonable and better than a lot of the competitors in my area. If you looking to get any outside work done to your property go with these guys!

Jonathan Schettino

Very satisfied with Jairo and his team’s work. Permitting process went smoothly and the fence was completed in a timely fashion, considering the cold weather, cold ground, and the abundance of large tree roots on my property. The fence was built using better quality materials than I expected (cedar frame support on gates, 6×6 posts on gates). Jairo was very responsive to any issues that I had with the aesthetics of the fence and even thought about some things that I hadn’t considered, but really appreciate now, like adding a flat top panel on the front fence so I can rest drinks on there after a long day’s work in the yard. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Give Jairo a call if you have a project – top notch work and team.
